Pet Permanent Identification
Having your pet microchipped will give them the best chance of being returned home if they are ever lost.
Pet Permanent Identification
While collars and tags are helpful if a pet gets lost, they can become loose or fall off, leaving your pet without identification. Thanks to microchips, your pet can carry their identifying information with them, no matter where they are. Microchips are tiny electric transponders, approximately the size of a rice grain, that contain your pets identifying information like owner contact information, etc.
Traditionally, microchips are located between a cat’s or dog’s shoulder blades. If a pet gets lost, this microchip can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter to retrieve the information and contact the owner, getting the pet back home safely.
