My passion for animal welfare began as a young girl growing up outside of Atlanta, GA, writing in journal notes and school assignments that I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. This eventually led me to begin pre-vet undergraduate studies at University of Georgia, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Avian Biology. During this time, I worked for a mixed practice veterinarian and spent a summer milking cows at 3 AM for minimum wage. I then moved across the country to attend Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, AZ. I practiced in Phoenix for nearly 3 years after graduating magna cum laude in 2023. While I adore the desert, I have loved the change in scenery and weather since moving to San Francisco with my cat and fiancé in April 2026.
My favorite areas of practice are internal medicine, surgery, and client education. I have a growing interest in advanced geriatric/palliative care as well. In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, picnicking in the park, attending concerts and music festivals, and exploring new cuisines.
